About

My name is Will, and I’ve been a trauma therapist since 2012. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s in Counseling, and from Regis University with a Master’s in Community Counseling. Trauma has always been my focus, and I have specialized in that field since the beginning. Throughout my career, I have worked at the Veterans Administration (VA), and as a Clinical Director at two rape crisis centers (in both New Mexico and Colorado). I have also worked as a Co-Responder with my local police department. During my time at the VA, I became trained on remote / telehealth therapy, and have been using it since 2013; switching to it full time during the pandemic was a seamless transition. My office is in Westminster for people who prefer face to face visits for some or all of their sessions. I see clients on Saturdays only, currently.

Starting therapy can be exhausting, exhilarating, scary, aggravating, or all of the above. I use a person-centered approach, which means we begin with the understanding that you are the expert in you. You know the areas that you need help with, you know the things that are most bothering you, you know the reasons you decided to begin therapy. My role is to help and assist, and provide tools, resources, and observations so that you can move forward.

If you have questions for me, great! I’m happy to answer. If you feel comfortable or just want to get the first appointment scheduled, that’s great too. I also work with a number of first responders and other health care workers, so I understand changing schedules. If you need to change times, that’s no problem; don’t let shift work or rotating schedules keep you from starting therapy! And again, I see clients on Saturdays only.

I am credentialed with all insurances in Colorado, except for Medicare / Medicaid. Yes, I do take TriWest! My current direct pay rate is $175/hour. Sessions are 53 minutes long.

I’m glad you reached out and began this process. I look forward to working with you.

Will has been the support I’ve needed to get through the toughest few years I’ve ever faced. His professionalism, care, and motivation to make a difference in my life have cleared my path in ways I couldn’t imagine. I would recommend Will to the people I love most in the world, and that means everything!
I have been working with William for quite some time now. Initially we worked together from May to August 2021.

When I found that I needed some more counseling to help me through some issues in the time between then I presumed my therapy early into 2022 and it is helped me a lot.

I am currently in the process of taking actions and making steps. I never thought I was capable of before. For anybody that has doubts regarding therapy. Find yourself a counselor that understands you. I can help you out or get you thinking about things from the perspective, you didn’t think about before. I’m grateful for my counselor and everything he’s helped me accomplish.
Will is very intelligent and insightful without being condescending. He’s able to help me make my own realizations and conclusions without needing to lecture or otherwise feel pedantic. His presence as a listener is rock solid and he has great recollection of our past sessions and of therefore my experience, history, and needs. He feels compassionate and safe but will also call things out when they need to be. Really great therapist.
Will is the absolute best therapist I have ever had. He has restored my faith in therapy and continues to add value to my life. He has helped me navigate the tangled jungle of emotions and feelings I have been battling to untangle my whole life. I can say I am a better and happier man today for the insight, guidance and knowledge Will brings to every single session. I am truly blessed to have him on this journey with me. Thank You Will for just being you, you’ve changed my life!
William is great. Such a patient, kind, thoughtful person who allows you to be your authentic self.
